Who I am
This website is run by Saeed Zaman, a digital marketing consultant based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Contact: hello@saeedzaman.ca.
What I collect
- Website checker: your name, business email address, the website address you enter, and a record of the consent you give, including the date, time, IP address, country and browser.
- Contact form: your name, email address, company if you enter it, and your message.
- Analytics: only if you accept analytics cookies. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.
Why I collect it
- To confirm your email address and deliver your website report.
- To reply to your message.
- If you agree on the checker form: to send you occasional emails about digital marketing, including a newsletter.
- If you tick the optional ads box on the checker form: to show you relevant ads on platforms such as LinkedIn, Google and Meta, using your name and business email to build an audience list.
Who handles your information
I use service providers to host this website, send email, keep the lead records and, if you agree to ads, to build audiences on advertising platforms. They process information on my instructions. I do not sell your information.
Your choices
- You can withdraw either consent at any time by emailing hello@saeedzaman.ca. Every marketing email I send includes an unsubscribe link.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you.
- If you withdraw ad consent, I will remove you from advertising audiences.
How long I keep it
I keep checker records until you withdraw consent, and I keep the consent record for three years after that, as Canadian anti-spam law requires. Contact messages are kept for as long as the conversation is active, plus two years.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Verification codes are stored in hashed form and expire after 15 minutes. Access to lead records is limited to me.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies on its own. If analytics is switched on, Google Analytics runs only after you accept, and I use Google's consent controls so nothing is stored before then.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, I will update the date above.
